mangingibang bakod ba si Chenelyn Mechado?

Jennylyn Mercado not closing her doors to ABS-CBN
Nora Calderon

Isang very slim na Jennylyn Mercado ang dumalo sa presscon ng Resiklo—the official entry of Imus Productions for 2007 Metro Manila Film Festival—kahapon, November 28, sa Annabel's restaurant sa Tomas Morato, Quezon City. Jen plays the love interest of Bong Revilla sa futuristic movie na ginawa para sa mga bata, sa direksiyon ni Mark Reyes.

Kumusta naman working with Bong na first time niyang nakatrabaho?

"I'm honored and flattered nang malaman ko pong ako ang napili ni Senator Bong na makatambal niya," sagot ni Jen. "Masaya siyang katrabaho. Akala ko nga seryoso siya dahil isa siyang senador. Pero kapag nasa set siya, palabiro pala siya at hindi niya ipinakikitang mataas siya kesa amin. Nagbibiro siya at alaga niya ang buong cast at staff. Lagi kaming busog sa set dahil madalas siyang nagtatanong kung ano ang gusto naming kainin, ipabibili raw niya.

Trillanes, Lim walk out of hearing, call for Arroyo ouster

Senator Antonio Trillanes IV and Brigadier Gen. Danilo Lim walked out of a Makati City courtroom as they called upon the Filipino people to withdraw support from President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo.

Radio dzMM said Lim, who faces court martial proceedings in connection with the Feb. 24, 2006 coup, was set to testify or had already testified when the incident occurred.

Lim served as a negotiator during the height of the Oakwood Mutiny, which was launched by the Magdalo on July 27, 2003. Lim was summoned as a witness for the defense panel.

"Ngayon na po ang panahon. Samahan po ninyo kami dito sa Makati. (Now is the time. Join us here in Makati)," Trillanes said on dzMM radio.

In a separate interview with GMA Flash Report, Trillanes appealed for popular support.

"Ito po ay panawagan sa pagbabago, kaya ang lahat ng naniniwala na dapat umahon na tayo sa kahirapan, ipakita nila ang suporta. Pumunta sila sa Makati," Trillanes said.

He, however, declined to say where the march - joined by former Vice President Teofisto Guingona Jr - was going.

Lim, Trillanes and a number of supporters were reportedly marching along Makati Avenue towards the Ayala Avenue thoroughfare as of posting time.

On the other hand, Armed Forces spokesman Lt. Col. Bartolome Bacarro downplayed the Trillanes and Lim's actions, even as he continued monitoring radio reports about developments in Makati City.

"Wala namang problema, they are just giving their statement," Bacarro told GMANews.TV in a telephone interview.

Bacarro confirmed that Lim and Trillanes' escorts are still with them. "Kasama ang escorts. Their escorts continue to guard them," Bacarro said.

When asked if this action was sanctioned by or was coordinated with the military, Bacarro said: "I will check."

Manila shakes...

Earthquake!

READ HERE:
http://www.gmanews.tv/story/70302/Manila-skyscrapers-sway-in-earthquake

(Updated 3 p.m.) MANILA - A magnitude 5.4 earthquake shook central and northern Luzon, including the Philippine capital, shortly after noon Tuesday. There were no immediate reports of injuries and damage.

A report from Associated Press (AP) said buildings across Manila shook for several seconds. Panicked residents also ran out into the streets, including some employees working in the Malacañang presidential palace and establishments in the Makati financial district.

A Palace official also confirmed that Cabinet members who were in a meeting at the Malacañang dining room were transferred to the Palace guest house due to the earthquake.

In Baguio City, hundreds of students inside a five-storey building in the University of Baguio rushed down to the streets for fears that the building might collapse.

In its latest update, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said the quake occurred 12:26 p.m. and measured 5.4 on the Richter scale - higher than the agency's preliminary estimate of 4.2.

In a phone interview with GMANews.TV, Jenjen de Ocampo, Phivolcs Science Research Specialist II, said the quake's epicenter was located 77 kilometers northwest of Lingayen, Pangasinan. She said the quake was tectonic in origin and had a depth of 32 kilometers. The possible source of the earthquake was the Manila trench.

On the other hand, the AP report said that the US Geological Survey (USGS) measured the quake at magnitude of 6.0 - upgraded from a preliminary estimate of 5.8.

USGS also located the earthquake's epicenter 195 kilometers (120 miles) north-northwest of Manila and said the quake had a depth of 62.5 kilometers (38.8 miles).

In its latest bulletin, Phivolcs said the quake was felt at intensity 6 in Lingayen, Pangasinan; intensity 5 in Bagac, Bataan; and intensity 4 in Caloocan City and Manila.

Also, Phivolcs said an intensity 3 quake was felt in Pasay, Pasig; Bulacan; Tarlac; Ilocos Sur; Ilocos Norte; Makati City; Las Piñas; and San Fernando, Pampanga. While the quake was felt at intensity 2 in Quezon City, Taguig, and Nueva Ecija.

Interviewed over QTV's Balitanghali, Phivolcs chief Renato Solidum said intensity 4 was felt in La Union.

Solidum said significant damages to property were not to be expected given the magnitude of the earthquake. Phivolcs also said it is not expecting aftershocks related to the earthquake.

Meanwhile, the Baguio City government suspended classes starting 1 p.m. Tuesday in public schools in all levels following the earthquake.

Radio dzBB reported that Baguio Mayor Reinaldo Bautista Jr decided to send students home after meeting with local officials from the Department of Education and the City Disaster Coordinating Council.

"For the rest of the afternoon, we intend to suspend classes to avoid any issues already with regards to the safety of our students here in Baguio City," Bautista said.

Bautista, however, clarified that the suspension order does not cover private schools and that the decision to cancel classes is left to the discretion of their respective administrators. - with reports from AP, GMANews.TV

so sa may letters H and S dyan, team na tau. shempre 60 percent sakin. 3 wrappers ko e. hehehe...

The Truth Hurts

--- "Aray!"
  • "Ang ganda/gwapo mo." --- "Ouch, ang sakit!"
  • "Gosh, gorgeous mo ngayon a." or "Sexy mo ngayon."
  • "You look fabulous."
  • "Naalala kita kaya kita tinawagan/tinext." --- "Kaya pala nakagat ko dila ko kaninang kumakain ako. Shet ang sakit!"
  • "Mahal kita." --- "Aray, natanggal heels ko!" (this works for girls with matching 5'2"-5'4" strot.)
  • "Sino ba sa amin? Ako o siya?" --- "Nasasabunutan ako!"
Hehehe... Does it hurt? It hurts, it hurts, you know!

Rumored breakup of Christian Bautista and Rachelle Ann Go getting more buzz

Rumored breakup of Christian Bautista and Rachelle Ann Go getting more buzz
Nitz Miralles
Monday, November 12, 2007
10:36 AMMay nagbalita sa PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) na break na sina Rachelle Ann Go at Christian Bautista after two years of relationship.

we are OMAR

The boy's name Omar \o-mar\ is pronounced OH-mar. It is of Arabic and Hebrew origin, and its meaning is "speaker; flourishing, long-lived". Biblical: a sheik of Edom and son of Esau. Omar Khayyam (12th century) was a Persian poet, astronomer, and mathematician. Caliph Omar II made Islam an imperial power. Poet Omar Khayyam; General Omar Bradley; actor Omar Sharif.

Omar has 2 variant forms: Omarr and Omer.

For more information, see also the related name Umar.

Baby names that sound like Omar are Omari, Amir, Emir, Amer, Ammar, Amr, Amor, Omero, Jamar, Jimar, Jemar, Jomar, Omri, Umer and Ymir.

Omar is a popular male first name and a very popular surname (source: 1990 U.S. Census).
these are some of the Omars that i found on Google.
  1. Omar Al Bashir
A top-100 list gives Omar al-Bashir too much company. In a number of ignominious post-World War II categories, Sudan's dictator ranks in the top five: most deaths as a result of war strategies (2.5 million in Darfur and southern Sudan), most people rendered homeless by scorched-earth policies (7 million), most villages burned to the ground (at least 1,500 in Darfur alone). Bashir's one goal is to maintain power. He has sown discord in Darfur with a classic divide-and-conquer strategy. As a result, interethnic conflict is tearing the region apart, and attacks on aid agencies by government and rebel militias have left a million people beyond the reach of humanitarian aid. Bashir, 63, has blocked the deployment of a larger U.N.-led peacekeeping operation that would protect Darfur's civilians.
And yet something good may come from Bashir's bloody legacy. In universities, synagogues, churches and town halls across the U.S., Americans are writing letters and raising hell about Washington's inaction in response to Darfur. Citizen groups around the world are following suit. In a David-vs.-Goliath scenario, only the activism of ordinary people will galvanize the action necessary to stop Bashir and future war criminals.

  3. Omar Epps
    Age: 33
Status: Married to singer Keisha Spivey
    See Him On: FOX'S House
Why He's Sexy: He's generous. Very generous. "I like catching [my wife] off guard. Last year for her birthday I gave her a five-figure shopping spree."
Born Omar Hashim Epps in Brooklyn, New York, on May 16, 1973, Epps was raised by his mother, an elementary school principal. He nurtured his interest in acting at both the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music and Art and the New York High School for the Performing Arts. After his breakthrough in Juice, Epps ran the risk of being typecast, playing athletes in a series of films. However, his performances were consistently solid, and he earned particular acclaim for his portrayal of a young man attending college on an athletic scholarship in John Singleton's Higher Learning (1995). Around this same time, Epps also excelled in a brief recurring role as an emotionally stressed intern on E.R.; he would later identify that role as the one that made it possible for audiences to finally put a name to his face. Omar has starred in two HBO Original movies, First-Time Felon, directed by Charles Roc Dutton, and Deadly Voyage, produced by Danny Glover. In First-Time Felon, Omar plays Greg Yance, a street-wise drug dealer and gang member in Chicago. Following his conviction, Yance is given the choice to remain in prison or finish his time in boot camp. Choosing boot camp, he quickly realizes that his sense of courage and desire to succeed will allow him to triumph. In Deadly Voyage, Epps stars as Kingsley Ofusu, the sole survivor of a group of nine African stowaways who fled Ghana on a Ukraine cargo ship. John J. O'Connor of The New York Times noted that Epps played superbly in the lead role as Ofusu, whom he was honored to meet prior to filming. Both are based on true stories.
Epps also portrayed Dr. Dennis Gant on the Emmy Award-winning drama ER As a surgical resident, he teamed up with Dr. Carter (Noah Wyle) and Dr. Benton (Eriq La Salle). In one of the most talked-about departures, Omar left audiences wondering whether his character committed suicide or not. No stranger to the big screen, Epps has appeared in lead roles in feature films such as The Wood, In Too Deep, John Singleton's Higher Learning, Juice and Daybreak. His supporting roles include Breakfast of Champions, opposite Bruce Willis and Nick Nolte, Major League 2, opposite Charlie Sheen, and The Program, with Craig Sheffer. Omar was also seen in Hollywood's best-kept secret, Scream 2, The Mod Squad, with Claire Danes, DK2 and Love and Basketball. He was also seen in Takeshi Kitano's Brother, the story of a displaced Yakuza gangster (Kitano) who strikes up an unlikely friendship with a black hustler (Epps). Together they embark on a violent struggle to take over the drug turf of East LA. He was recently seen in Barry Sonnenfeld's Big Trouble, in which he played an FBI agent, starring alongside Tim Allen, Rene Russo, Tom Sizemore and Jason Lee.

well, mahirap ikwento lahat dito sa blog but i want you to take a look at the pictures.

there are some things that i want to share with you from HK:
  1. they are busy late in the morning. around 10am i think for work.
  2. mahirap kapag walang trabaho sa HK. kahit sa mcdo, matatanda na ang crews nila. and the young people spend their times studying and they have been very busy.
  3. sobrang linis. as in! makikita ko lang kalat sa kalsada ay withered leaves. they leave cigarette butts in specific boxes na makikita naman kahit saan. kung mejo malayo sila sa trash bin na yun, they make the efforts to go there and throw the waste inside.
  4. try roast duck, white chicken and suckling pig na makikita sa Cafe de Coral. i say it's a must-try!
  5. try to eat at regular restos parang carinderia dito sa atin pero aircon! they will serve you tea pero their fingers are dipped inside the glasses. wag ka, mga tao dun takam na takam! hehehe...
  6. they serve food in BIG SERVINGS, and i mean BIG! dko nga naubos ung mga lunch ko e.
  7. may San Miguel Beer dun pero mas sikat ata ang Corona Beer. may lemon pang nilalagay. hehehe..
  8. Mong Kok is a shopping haven for ladies, Jordan for male shoppers. since HK is what i call, "Mother Divisoria" tumawad ka kaagad ng 50% off from the regular price. pero pag hindi cla pumayag sa tawad mo, iwan mo sila pero hahabulin ka pa rin nila to give you a bargain! hehehe...
  9. take the Star Ferry to go to the other side of the harbor. it's one of the must-do things in the world ayon sa National Geographic.
  10. some unusual birds glide from building to building. dko lam what type of bird un. but it is still unusual to see birds in the urban setting.
  11. means of transpo: taxi, double-decker bus, tram (double-deckers pero may riles), MTR, ferry, and signature car models. dun lang ako nakakita ng ferrari, BMW, audi or any luxury car na parang wala lang. o diba sosyal?!
  12. right-hand drive dun kaya ingat-ingat sa pagtawid.
  13. i really want you to see the light show of Wan Chai from Tsim Sha Tsui harbor. nasa pics and videos ko ung reason kung bakit. :)
  14. may sariling mall and airport nila for departure. san ka pa?! meron din namang disney items dun.
  15. almost all people go to work walking and in a fast pace. i think yun cguro ang reason kaya bakit they stay slim kahit bandehado na sila kumain.
  16. i think i have to learn cantonese na. not only mandarin. hehehe...
