Review: Alvin and the Chipmunks

ReviewReviewReviewReview

i was looking back at my freebies from the Trinoma Food Tour and again i saw this very special freebie: FREE TICKET AT TRINOMA CINEMA which was until January 31, 2008. i never hesitated to finally use it so i went to Trinoma yesterday.

it was hard to choose from big movies like Sweeney Todd, Rambo and Alvin and the Chipmunks but since I was a cartoon fan, not to mention that i also liked this show in the 80's, i went for the chipmunk movie and i get munk'd.

the Trinoma cinema is huge and the seat was very comfy. so as i was watching the trailers of what's coming, 2 families sat beside me as if i was their divider. the agony of having kids in the theater! i thought it was the best time to watch for the movie has been showing 2 weeks ago.

so, about the movie, it lacks a little childish tickle in the middle. the first part was so funny when dave seville discovers the unnatural chipmunk ability. then it was a low point by the middle when they had their career in the music scene but it was not really redeemed by the end part. it was all right that the chipmunks on CGI. what can u expect? but they were still cute by the way. the music arrangements are cool.

wholly, the movie was about family.
