THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO movie review

solving a mystery of decades didn't take forever for journalist Mikael Blomkvist (Daniel Craig). he is aided by young computer hacker Lisbeth Salander (Rooney Mara). the partnership of both makes a good research team.
the thing is to solve the disappearance of a young girl who was from a prominent family. and this assignment given to Blomkvist pushed him to his limits other than just a journalist looking for facts. throughout the movie, you'll see their see their differences, origins and tactics on solving the case which are really interesting. however, the transition at the early part of the movie was very long. i actually almost get to sleep.
it was then at the middle of the movie where you'll get to know more of the characters. how some people make use of the weaknesses of other people to abuse them. and how some people can get away with their crimes on turning around the table.
production of the movie showed good timing. from costumes and setting were almost perfect to the tiniest detail. i also liked the research skills of Lisbeth. she is one good hacker getting all rich accounts and changing her identity. but at the end, she realizes that she cannot have it all which is a sad part.
THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO is not suited for young minors due to some violent scenes. opening February 1, 2012 in the Philippines, brought to us by Columbia Pictures, local office of Sony Pictures Releasing International.
